The friendly staff at Tully Dental are well trained in the state of the art procedures and are ready to make your next trip to the dentist a comfortable and relaxed one. Dr. Paul Tully has over 14 years of experience in the dental health field and is great with children. The hygienists each have over 20 years of experience, and do the chairside assistants. All this experience means that you can rest assured that you will receive the best possible treatment, diagnosis, and care as a patient at Tully Dental.
	Dr. Paul Tully I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Baltimore College of Dentistry at the University of Maryland. I graduated with honors in Geriatric Dentistry and Practice Management. I have been practicing dentistry since 1995 and am a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Gettysburg Dental Study Group. I also donate time and service to area schools and the community. To stay abreast of new techniques and technology in dentistry I seek opportunities to continue my education. My goal is to make your visit to Tully Dental comfortable while creating for you a healthy and beautiful smile.
	Dr. John Tully - (retired). Although you may still see me in the office occasionally, after 46 years of practice I went into full time retirement in May 2005.
	Heather Leatherman - Office Manager I graduated in 1996 from Gettysburg Highschool and started working for Dr. Tully in March 1998. I have completed my X-ray certification and CPR training. My responsibilities include patient accounts, daily and monthly reports, and coordinating the appointment schedule for the office.
	Kim Trostle - Dental Assistant I grew up in the York Springs area. I am a 1978 graduate of Bermudian Springs Highschool and continued my eduation by taking courses at the University of Maryland and Montgomery County Community College. I joined Dr. Tully's staff in August 1993. I am certified in CPR and first aid, and am also X-ray certified. I also do expanded functions and various lab procedures including sterilization. I enjoy doing inventory and ordering supplies. My love of taking care of people and dentistry has been very rewarding.
	Tammy Markey - Dental Assistant I am a 1981 graduate of Eastern Highschool in Wrightsville, PA and began my career with Dr. Tully's team in 1985. My major responsibility here in the office is to assist with patient care in the treatment rooms. I also assist with examination procedures such as blood pressure screenings, charting, taking health histories, X-rays, and impressions for diagnostic models. I help in all phases of restorative, endodontic, prostetic and surgical procedures. I also make temporary crowns and perform some laboratory procedures. I am CPR certified and have passed the Radiographic Examination required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry. I have also taken a course in emergency medicine. I enjoy working with the staff and people that visit our office every day.
	Linda Baker - Dental Hygienist I have been associated with Dr. Tully's staff most of my career. I graduated in 1972 with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University School of Dentistry. To keep current, I have taken courses at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Maryland, and HACC. I keep current with my CPR certification. The rewards of working in such a great office help to make this career one that I continue to enjoy. My avid hobby is photography, so my profession has me saving smiles as does my hobby! Smile saving is my business no matter how you look at it!
	Maria Johnson - Dental Hygienist I graduated from Allegheny Community College, Cumberland, Maryland in May 1988 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I practiced in Maryland for eight years and returned to my hometown of Gettysburg in 1996 where I continued to work part time in dentistry. I was thrilled to join Dr. Tully's staff in December 2008.
	Chery Resop - Dental Hygienist My dental hygiene career began in 1988 following my graduation from Guilford Tech in North Carolina. As a native of Gettysburg, I eventually returned to my hometown where I've continued to work for the past 16 years. I officially joined the Tully Dental staff in December 2008 and enjoy being part of this pleasant and professional environment.
	Lisa Tully - Bookkeeper - I have worked primarily behind the scenes at Tully Dental doing accounts payable and payroll since 1996. You may occasionally see me working at the front desk checking patients in and out as well. I also have a background in commercial insurance. I graduated with a degree in Economics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1987.
	Nancy Fresch - Dental Hygienist from 1993 - 2008 When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Unfortunately, we lost our Nancy unexpectedly on 10/28/08. We miss her smile and her humor in our office every day, but treasure the time we had with her. She is not only missed by those that worked with her, but by the patients that came to see her.
